But when I sit down on my bed with a book he somehow knows I'll be there a long time. Then he puts himself to bed...

Alfie, you are very creative when it comes to finding a spot to sleep :) And you are absolutely ADORABLE, especially in that photo with your head peeking out from under the bed.
Don has a hard time finding cozy sleeping spaces- he's so big! He's pretty happy on his dog bed, or even on the floor. He sleeps so much, this morning he slept until 11:00!
Lol didn't Dakota used to curl up under your green chair too? funny doodles! We have a dog bed that is shaped like a couch.. Bob likes to lay on the top part of it.. I think there is a picture somewhere (?) lol.
It's so cute how Alfie likes to get under things. I've never seen Cabana do that. She used to sleep only on her dog beds, but now that the weather is warm, I think they make her too hot. So she plops down anywhere on the floor, carpet or wood.

Yeah, Natalie, Dakota loved the green chair "cave" too. Alfie has to work pretty hard to get under there (he's bigger than Duckie) but he still loves it.
Our 1st pup Willie was more like Cabana, Mimi -- a floor sleeper. Didn't care for dog beds much!
Oh my goodness... that is so funny!!!
So cute!! Most of the time criket likes to snuggle close by my feet. But she also enjoys her time and my closet on top of my shoes (how could that be comfortable) underneath and then she has my shirts hanging over the top of her.
Our dogs (the "pets") like to sleep wherever we happen to be in the house, usually. The Collie generally prefers tile floor & also right in the doorway of whatever room we happen to be in. :) When it's hot, the Blue Heeler likes our showers if we forget to close the door. Like "the boys", Lola prefers to be nearest us, but she definitely has an affinity for pillows, whether human or otherwise. If a pillow gets left on the floor, she'll happily make use of it to rest her cute head. She, also, likes to use the cat bed for a pillow. :)
