"Because of his teeth," she states with impeccable logic, (yeah, OUCH!) "and because he's leaving a permanent mark on our stuff!"
I didn't do it!
I'm just a puppy, after all!
Can any of you out there relate to the Sharpie stage of puppyhood? Fortunately, it doesn't last forever...

I guess puppies will be puppies regardless. However I know some of our puppy walking volunteers use a small spray bottle with water and give a quick spray in the face to the puppy if he is chewing something they don't want chewed!
Of course, this only work if the puppy doesn't like getting a wet face!
ooo I don't like puppy teeth lol, they're so sharp! I saw on Dogs 101: Puppies, that if you put frozen butter on your skin, the dog learns to lick and not to bite.. Not sure if I would like that greasy approach but might work? Also, I don't know how well it works but there's also that bitter spray you can buy to spray on things you don't want them to chew.. Who knows, you're more experienced than I am lol...
Thanks for the sympathy! :-) Yeah, I've got a few tricks of my own up my sleeve after the last couple of puppies...but of course Alfie's still a work in progress! We love him though, puppy teeth & all...
